The Fastest i've gone in my lil Clio is 70 mph i don't wanna push it as the engine needs to wear in for the first 5,000 miles. It's Quite nippy even on the motorways it can do 70 mph at 3,300 RPM. I haven't pushed it past 4,000 RPM yet. It Doesn't have alloy wheels but it has A/C, CD Player, Remote Central Locking. As i'm not allowed on motorways yet as i've only passed my test a few weeks ago. But i've put in for my pass Plus Now.
ebay auction watch bluejeff, can you help me verify if this fast vehicle is real? I'll promise it would be my final fast thing to buy. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3078059896&category=4672
Re: ebay auction watch !! F-18 ?!?!?! Yeah, that's a real one, and I don't think there is any fake seller can make that thing Stat & Fact: 0->1000mph: probably in 15 seconds including the takeoff time I think it says they would do the delivery.....nice....image a mailman knocking on your door and asking you to sign for this "package"
the only ford i like so far. Better have no recalls on this one http://media.ford.com/newsroom/images/fordcom/fordgt/gtad2.wmv
It's one of the cars I've always wanted. The other cars that I've wanted also include the RX-7 and Supra. Their turbo versions of course. A car, I'll never to get to drive is Skyline. Since importing one and legalizing it would be a pain because of the cost.
I test-drove a couple of skylines about 4/5 years ago, but decided not to have one because I thought I'd end up killing myself in it. And that was just the old 94 model 2.5 GTS, not the newer GTR versions. Looking back, I would still have liked to have one, but am pretty sure I would have crashed it.
You could move to Oz? http://www.j-spec.com.au/list/0123/ These guys are quite reputable. AU$13K landed, yummy
lol I won't have that much trouble in Driving My 1.4L 16V Clio Or my mums 1.6L 16V Renault Scenic. Although the Scenic is good for 110 MPH with a full can and 5 ppl in it and the A/C on.
- which side of the road the aussies drive on? - any 0-60 mph and 1/4 mile lapse time for the skyline?
It's quite new as retro. Yes, it's for sale, available this spring. First come first serve though. Cooler likes new cars too http://www.caranddriver.com/article.asp?section_id=19&article_id=6737
On the correct side of the road of course, hence we get all the cool Jap cars ;P It's pretty hard to get unmodified R32 (the old one) specs. The new one (which basically has the same engine) does sub 5 sec 0-60 times and sub 14's for the 1/4 miles. From memory the R32 was about half a sec slower for both.
Hey cooler, I got a question for you. When people buy old cars, say, like a 1960s car. What if it broke down and need to replace parts?? (However, it is now 2004, 44 years away from the production date, and no one makes the parts anymore.) How do you find the parts you need?
If you bought a common or popular model, there are tons of parts available through car swap meets(gathering) and aftermarket part stores. There is a flourishing industry that just serve this purpose. You can even find a say, a decal for so and so car, model and year, both used and new. Also, just look at ebay, tons of car parts (ebaymotors.com). When i search for 'decal' there were 360 hits. Don't forget other online classified and stores. If you can't find an used part, there is aftermarket part that is fabricated to look, feel and perform like original. Matter of fact, you can even by the whole car made from aftermarket parts assembled or as a kit for you to assemble
for example, one can restore it as original or with some mods like this dude http://autoweek.com/search/search_d...89&Search_Type=STD&Search_ID=1923121&record=3 it ran high 11's in 1/4 ET with 4 adults laughing inside.
