i remember seeing the second from the bottom when i was really young, i think it was my dad's spare and gave it to my cousin when she took up badminton but he kept his ry-900 would it be alright if i mp'ed my cab 21?
I have a Carbonex 7 I think that I always play with, though the pics I've seen here don't look like mine, then again mine is a hybrid of Yonex and Carlton.
Also have a CAB9, not able to play with it because I'm uncomfortable with it's grip size now (G3), still thinking of method to get it down to what I like (G4/G4+overgrip)
i just tried out my cab30ms tonight at 23x25 tension, the stringbed when hitting the bed for a clear if i miss the sweetspot is very very very stiff, if i hit the sweet spot its like the kaboom thing i like it but its not very generous on ur off shots or if you are a weak player. i strung it iwth bg65ti, im just wondering how long it will take for teh tension to lower a little because i think its a bit too high for all my shots, for my smash good clears not so well for around the head shots if i miss the SS its no good drops good. + i have a question about the grips why do people coil it all the way to the end of the cone? is that something cool to do or is their a reason? i think it is because peopel want to choke up of the racket is that why?
I believe it is because you do sometimes grip the racquet high, so it should be easier if the cone is gripped as well.
i agree with the question, the rackets are gripped all the way up to the cone, but then they nvr hold the racket at those spots, the only spot held is the handle, but yet theres so much extra gripping<br>
i'm using my good 'ol Carbonex 9 racquet... as for the grip, i covered it up till the cone level too...just in case if i ever hold that high position..maybe sometimes for backhand service?
Does Yonex still produce Cab 9? Not the new model, but the old model, gold ones with T join. I got 7 Cab 9 rackets, but they are retired, too heavy and stiff, I switched to AT800OFF a while ago
Nop they dont produce those old Cab9 gold rackets, its sort of phased out hard to find a shop that still sells, try getting 2nd hand cab9 some people still have it. I still have one but its really old. I think theres a Cab9 Tour but not sure if its as good as the original
I believe I have a lot of Carbonex rackets, but I'm a big fan of the Carbonex series and I share my rackets with my brother. We have a lot besides the carbonex series, but this is carbonex topic so: Carbonex 15 2x Carbonex 20 Carbonex 20 Power Carbonex 20 Tour Carbonex 20 Tour Special Carbonex 20 Titanium Power 2x Carbonex 21 Carbonex 22 Carbonex 23 Carbonex 25 Carbonex 30 Muscle Carbonex 880 Tour And one that's not really a carbonex but has similar design: Boron-2
