Look at the way sigit grip his racket, that's more than up way up to the shaft. And yes, he does choke that high sometimes, especially for fast net rallies.
I'm also missing the Cab20MS and the latest version of the CAB20. Seems there is a 3U version of it. Worth to collect? And I'm afraid I cannot find the cab20 long anymore.
I did not bring my rackets from the Philippines (2x Cab 21 SP both old version, Cab 20 Tour SP also old) when I relocated to CA. This gave me the opportunity to try out the Cab 21 in its latest incarnation Actually, I'm thinking of having my Cabs shipped here. I haven't played with the new Cab 21 yet, but hopefully it performs like the old Cab 21s.
My Cab 30 MS is strung at around 24x22 tension and it takes about half a week (playing 4 days a week) to loosen the tension a bit. But then again, I'm using BG 85s, so I'm not entirely sure if 85s or 65ti's lose their tension quicker. If you just got the racket, it took me around a month to get used to how it swings. But then again, I only played about 4-5 times that month, so it may take you a week or two to get used to it. ---------------- I have a Cab 30 and soon to have a Cab 20 tour special. Cab 30 has primarily been my training racket for now when I warm up. It's helped me to hit more accurately in my sweet spot area for the rest of my rackets. I'm hoping to be able to get the full use out of the racket and turn it into my main racket soon. My drives are still a bit shaky with it.
i begin to collect cab20s recently, and here are my stock of cabs : cab20 orginal sp (lavender)x1 cab20 orginal cn (blue) x1 cab20 power sp x1 cab20 ti-power sp x1 cab20 special sp x1 cab 20 tour x1 cab21 (blue) sp x1 cab21 special sp x1 cab30 muscle power sp x1 ommit 20 special tour and 20 long...
Mongoose, can you post a pic of of your cabonex 3 wood. I havent seen a wooden racquet before provided it is still with you.
Yonex Carbonex 8 HI jhirata, how do you feel on the racket? Carbonex 8 is very good for smashing right. It is a head heavy type of racket.
I started to dislike it somehow, maybe because of it's lower-tension string ( bg65@ 22lbs ) and a lack of control, compared to my MP40. But I love using this racquet against nooblets for target practises. I should actually get it at a higher tension, but I'm not sure whether it can withstand higher string tensions like 25lbs. :crying:
Carbonex 8 I strung my cab 8 at 23*25, no problem at all and very good for smashing. I believe you will like your cab 8 again .
