Poor me... I forgot who TH defeated in the 2004 INA Open semifinals... I just remembered TH used a lot of backhand smash for either clean winners or set up for some other kill shots...

...and also what happened in that 2005 Singapore Open clash between TH and LD? I remembered TH used his cool backhand smash to win cool points. But I don't remember what eventually happened...! Can anybody help me? Cooler, you seem to know a little bit of badminton history. Help me out here... Please be helpful...

Nope, i dont remember those ones, honestly. Bascially LD is mentally weak in 2005 and before. I never denied that. In 05 WC MS final, LD was playing like a B+/A- player, he can't even return a simple drop shot when his body is there and racket readied.

Blah...blah..blah...of course you forgot.....LD was top seeded..I think....what a lame excuse!!! so basically every time LD lost, either he was mentally weak, his mind was not ready.....hm..what else? oops..he was too slow to start the games....:D
Every players have ups and downs....you are laughing at TH....should we laugh at CH too??

since i only joined BC in late 2002, and didn't discuss about foreign players until in 2004, and i dont get to see (or download) any international tournament videos until 2005. That is my reason.

    Oooo.... no wonder

Oh, I see... no problem dude... I guess you just don't know enough about TH in his prime because you didn't get to watch a lot of him to have a valid opinion about his abilities between 2002 to 2005...

He did win a lot of matches back then. Before LD was ranked #1, TH was once ranked #1 in the world... he was superb. We in INA saw much more of him, naturally. We feel lucky to have experienced enough of his brilliance. :)

Now... not anymore... The TH era has ended...

If one player isn't exactly improving or winning anything... plus losing in early rounds, then what other facts do you need to prove that he is indeed getting worse?

In TC2004, TH just destroyed KJ's confidence with that legendary crosscourt jumping backhand smash followed up by a fatal netshot. However, the rest of the match before that point was won due to TH's superior netplay, jumpsmash, speed, and stamina.

Heh, yeppp... Cooler I can't even tell if you're serious or not? You can't honestly complain about Taufik's fans when in just about ANY thread to do with Taufik you either compare him to Lin Dan or make some other provocative comment about him.

You can't really blame his fans for getting defensive when you're out there - everywhere - doing all the attacking! And if anyone says anything about Lin Dan (usually because YOU brought him into the thread in the first place!!)... there you are doing pretty much the same thing as what you accuse Taufik's fans of!

    Hypocrisy :D!

And your EXCUSE? "I like to balance things out a bit"... Well honestly I think I've seen far more of it from you than any other member. Balancing things out is no excuse, it's not going to solve anything. It's like kids always having to get "even" to the point where it just goes on and on...

There's no *good* reason for what you're doing, but as I know how stubborn you can be I guess it's unlikely you're ever going to stop .
