well my friend got a fake armortec 700 for just $5 and i came with bg 65 but the other guys end up breaking it and i found it it was head light cause the head was hollow so yea
I could be wrong on this but Krismash said at the beginning that It had the PBSI on it dosn't that mean it is a clone not a fake ?? please correct me if wrong!
It is quiet a common practice in India to get rackets from other countries through sources by smugglers. I am sure this has come down now. For example if these sellers went through Yonex rep in India Mp 100 ID would cost about 7000INR. I have seen SP and TW verisons (noy fakes...) selling for 4000INR (price i can get it for). This was in 2002! I have also owned a cab 880 tour [not fake] with PBSI logo on it. This is quiet a common prac if you buy from importers. So PBSI logo in india is not a fake...
different racquets sooths different players. that is the reason why a single brand have so many models available. some player wants stiff, flexible, heavy head, balance, long..... etc.
most racquets now are made by OEM factories in China. so it means any excess in production can be rebranded and painted to YONEX since this is the best selling brand right now.
i found this fake armortec too in Bandung - Indonesia.. there is some shop that sell the fake of YONEX racquets. if there is a PBSI logo, its mean its for / from Indonesia sale. PBSI means 'Persatuan Bulu Tangkis Indonesia'. The Fake Armortec 700 is around IDR 150,000 ( Rp.150000 )or $26US. I didnt buy it coz im afraid of the quality of that racquets. It's Good??? im a little interested of that product after viewing this thread. it's better than the original???
Fake Armortec 700 from Ho Chi Minh This weekend while in Ho Chi Minh got a fake Armortec 700 for USD 13 How good is it? Has anyone done the same? I will start using it only tomorrow
I bought a racket DChamp but the model look like Armortec 900. They copied the whole design and it uses high modulus graphite for the shaft. Of course the material is not the same as the original but the design, looks the same. It is lighter than the original and pack less power. Of course the original is better in terms of material used. But for those who cannot affort the original price, those who wants to own an Armortec 900, the is the choice they have. You can string to the maximum of 28lbs. The frame is quite tough...
