Does anyone know what Heryanto Arbi, Joko Suprianto, Ardy Wiranta are up to?

I loved those days when the Indonesians dominated the sport. It was a great indonesian team ever. (Heryanto Arbi, Joko Suprianto, Alan Budi Kusuma, Ardy Wiranta, Fung Permadi (before he change nationality to Chinese Taipei), Ricky & Rexy, Bang Bang Suprianto, Chandra Wijaya, Susi Susanti, Mia Audina (She was a upcoming star at that time. Very bizarre "Round The Head" shots. Now she plays for the dutch team doesn't she?)

It was always lovely to watch Susi Susanti play all those long rallies. She played soooo good defensive play and all her opponents ran out of gas and simply gave up the set. It was always finals between Susi Susanti Vs Ye Zhao Wing or Susi Susanti Vs ...? (That South Korean woman... wats her name?)

I was out of badminton for well over 5 years and when I came back to the sport I was surprised and shocked to see none of the indonesian players made to the Yonex All England 2004 finals.

Ardy is in Canada coaching the Canadian team (i think he is still there). before that he was trying to coach the US team but ultimately gave up on them and then went onto Canada.

Joko is the singles coach for PBSI.

    don't know about Arbi, anybody?

yes, ardy is still in Canada. If anyone wants to get a glimpse at him, i believe he's playing at the Badminton Revoultion event in Calgary, Alberta.

Hey guys, don't pick on HongHong la. Don't tell me you don't watch tennis because of Anna, no? ;) Let her enjoy badminton for whatever reason it is as long as it's nothing obscene (akhem) or indecent...

I think Yang Yang would be the perfect spokesperson for Yonex back then as he was simply one of the greatest, a legend. Thus his name 'YY' could be made synonym with Yonex's logo. Any reason to think that Yonex became famous because of him?

Is Rexy 'Just-hit-anything-at-me-it's-like-swatting-flies' Mainaky still coaching Britain?

Gave up on them? Because of lack of interest of the US players, or lack of resource? Curious.

actually, my mistake in paraphrasing, but i believe he said something "i have done my best" when asked about his stint in the US. it was a couple of years ago, i think.

I met her when I was on holiday, as she is sponsored by Kawasaki, and they sponsored the tournament I played in, so she gave out the prizes.

I think she still plays at province level (Hunan??)

he refused to be trained under Joko, instead he wanted PBSI to re-hire his ex-coach Mulyo. in order to get him play again, PBSI could not do much but to agree.
