Although I'm cheering for China No matter who ends up winning this will be some truly excellent badminton being played today I wish I were there to see it all... oh well... I can get a little bit of a taste of what it was like when some of the pros come to Calgary to play early June.
INDONESIA vs CHINA in the final will be great....CHINA would want to grab the TC in front of the the Ina....but INDONESIA would also want to defend the cup in front of the local fans
i knw, i was there in 1994 and it's so natural, we wr all set in auto mode and and joined in the cheering (and booeing too, guilty as charged )...
These will be the tie matches. Without Ha TK, Korea seems not weaker. the 1st, 2nd single and the 1st double will be very exciting. Head-to-head between Il vs Lin and Shon vs Bao are balance.
yeah, a repeat of the 1986 final where china emerged winner in a 3-2 thriller.. my folks wr so disappointed watching live thn, and if i m not wrong it's all because of the strategy of putting the great Lim Swie King (who ws on the the way down in stamina) in both single and double... in the last match whr Lim played the double, he ws so drained the commentator said something like unfair match of 2 against 1.5
Ladies and Gentlemen..... on my right, Lin Dan, representing China! *YAY*......... on my left, Lee Hyun Il, representing Korea! *YAY*.........
oh...you scared me. I thought it has started already but the TV is now still advertising some stuff. GO CHINAA!!

Astro. At least they have changed the commentator to Gillian and Darren Hall, if I'm not mistaken. The commentators in the prelim rounds were not good. The players are still warming up. But Astro is a bit slow by 2-3 minutes.
