Steen said this is a slow hall. I have to disagree with that. Maybe its a slow shuttle but this HongKong Coliseum if you visit, is never a slow hall. This hall is just like stadiumPerpaduan, have to say its faster than BirminghanArena. The shuttle travels fast enough so there is no way you can defend and keep defending.

wd & ws: it's all in how you play at the end of a game... crunch time... the important points. ms: resembled a marathon. not very combative. just a race to the end. xd: fortune favors defense for those whom are prepared fundamentally and tactically. tactical: yutarisa moved wanghuang around more. the short block returns to the net corners were well utilized, as were the straight drive returns when receiving cross court smashes. a clear game plan to lift as little as possible, whereas huangwang lifted more than they had to/should have. racket fundamentals: a) hdp's racket position on smash defense is awful. when her left foot is forward the head of her racket is at her right ankle, always expecting it to her forehand. you can't doing anything if the smash comes across your body, which it did at crucial times. did higanabe or the coaches spot this? doesn't matter. it was begging to be exploited. b) yutarisa's rackets are always up whether at net, defending smashes or in crouch defense resulting in many points. md: in a word? a beat down.
The KOR coach lineup is still the same, at least until Nov 23. As mentioned at KOR thread here. That INA coach is Agus Dwi Santoso. BKA will have recruitment for the new head coach then fill the line-up of their coaches.
Happy to see Arisa and Yuta getting the win! Both showed improvement from last week! Did Wang say something bad at his partner during set#2? She didn't look too happy. Nothing will make you lose faster than getting frustrated at your partner.
Then this pair will have even more problems. Let's hope this is just due to too many tournaments and fatigue.
Nah WYL is dumb.. too often giving out easy wins for ZSW ends up forgetting to win in final against other pair, what a joke.
can i ask a simple question - where do some of you guys/gals get the term "set" from? in bmton, its first game, second game, final game. bringing tennis terminology to this beautiful game is irritating.
