Still good job for bakri, 2 consecutive final is not an easy to get, and today they perform better than last week in Denmark. Not to forget that Kim/Anders has been so stable recently.
Bakri, their pace is just too slow. They are trailing basically 3-5 points throughout G3. They need to restart the point faster, move it faster. When you play one by one, you will either lose or win 1 point, there is just no momentum - This also reminds me of angga/RickyKaranda badminton style. They should have known it but Fikri looks tired to me.
I believe the lady coach is former Japan WS player Kaori Imabeppu. Yes - a clear step change for Ohori, and nice to see.
last week lost to 2022 WC winner, yesterday lost to 2023 WC runner up... too bad coming week they have to go home and prepare for Korea & Japan Masters...
These rankings change in MD is wild. 5 contestants are open for year end WR1. Will it ever be like this again so close to year end (Nov already). the funny is its possible that none of these 5 will get gold in Paris or any medal for that matter.
I think high riding pairs not necessarily will win gold, most of the time, underdogs like pairs ranked between 5-12 might get onto the podium at Olympics. The one that improves from now on until Olympics next year will get the chance. I felt the Danish second-ranked pair and a Korean pair will be grabbing spotlight in MD in Paris next year
