Hello everyone, I have a Tennisman Diamond BT-M Stringing Machine, also known as Tourna 850 ES, with an old Puller. After watching the introductory video from Xpider about the new automatic Span Gripper, my mouth watered. I was able to buy a new tractor for about $400. But I don't know where to replace it, with what connection to the motherboard. Can someone give me instructions? Or can someone who owns a similar tensioner take a picture to show me what the circuit board looks like inside the machine? I thank you in advance Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk
From what I can see, there is a connector from the gripper itself and a male connector on the base. Aren't they meant to be simply connected?
but these two connections are different. so they are not suitable for each other. I think I need another female connector, the right type to go into the new Head Gripper. But I don't know where it connects to the motherboard Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk
can you also include a picture of the old gripper (underside) to see how it connected originally as comparison? I figured the wiring would be the same (male/female connector) and all you need to do is swap the gripper and attach any wiring to the same location.
This is the connection cable from the motherboard to the Head Gripper. It has 2 Pin pins. But the new Head Gripper has 3 Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk
I dont know. so I'm hoping that someone with a comparable machine can take a picture of the mainboard Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk
Please confirm, the difference between the two grippers is: New - 3 prong male connector? -> are 3 wires used for this connector? Original - 2 prong male connector. -> safe to assume 2 wires are used for this connector? If that is true then my high school electronics knowledge would be the: swapping male connectors is likely only possible if both grippers have 2 wires. if there is a difference don't know if i can help. Since this is a Tennisman machine, I think it's best to contact them for guidance and support. They can probably confirm whether it's even possible or not to swap.
