Which is more important? I don't really care what the country they played for..but the important thing is what the country they came from.. I think..Howard & Bob Malaythong came from Vietnam..thats mean they are ex-vietnam player..and the people who's came from will be proud with them.. And also..as indonesian people..i'm HAPPY..with TONY/HALIM back together.. they are ex-indonesia player..ALTHOUGH they're not play FOR Indonesia anymore..same like Mia Audina (ex-Indonesia)..although she's not play for Indonesia..they're still the bring name of Indonesia (inside of them).. And i think so with China..Yao Jie, Wang Chen, Pi Hongyan.. They're ex-player of China, not play for China anymore..but still bring name of China inside of them...well that's MORE important for me than what he country they played for..
Yes Chris..both of them (Tony/Halim) are Indonesian people..thay had been togheter and played for Indonesia..i'm glad to heard about that they back into pair again..
Just a little correction....Not sur about Bob, since I've never asked him, but Howard never played badminton in Vietnam, so he's not an ex-Vietnam player.
Although he never played for Vietnam but he's came from Vietnam...that's more important..(i think..) Ok..let's say that he's not ex-Vietnam player..but he's ex-Vietnam people, wasn't?...
We are all "ex-something" people! (especially Americans! ) Whatever his origin, Howard is American and learned badminton in the U.S., this is what counts!
nobody care but most of the good player are yellow one except danish , this is a joke because I am too from hong kong ,but I am a bad and old player!!! MING
You still a hero!! No..Ming..although you are in Paris now..but the people in Hongkong still know you as their hero...what are you came for.. in sport match..no word like "bad" and "old'' all the player were good!! But..you know..that sports need some 'lucky' to be a winner.. Beside Tehniques and Physics of course!!..
well..this is me.. Except me!!..i have a highly natioalism!... well, probably you say that because Pi Hongyan not came from France..but from China... (sorry, i'm just kidding).. Maybe they recah a high carrier as a badminton player in U.S but his family, his blood, his language (probably.. ) still came from Vietnam or Laos..well, let we see in some newspaper..when they had interviewed with journalist, they still bring their origin country..(if you ever read some article.. )
2 different things.. well..same like indo player (mia, halim/tony, etc)..they're just import but and still have a highly natioalism for indo...that's what i mean ex-player..and Howard is just ex-people...that's 2 different things... (although they're use U.S flag now)
