I've ordered a reel of Victor, Yonex, and his own RKEP towel grip from him. Will decide which I like best and order more.

3 reels is ~60 rackets, so.. that'll keep me going for a while yet.

Yeah that ought to last you awhile unless you start handing out free grippings like I do.... Seriously tho, looking forward to your reviews.

Despite summer coming i've decided to stick to PU grips. Namely the highend victors / mizuno and few more. Victor ones specifically are sublime right now and seem more enjoyable than supergrap tho even they don't come close to that elusive AC130 that I can no longer find anywhere after superseries. :-(

G08!!! Reli happy with the performance and feel of this grip. Soft, comfortable, tacky even when it's wet. The texture is similar to that of a PU grip, but the tackiness is far superior. I vote for G08 over AC102EX which is my current go-to grip. Satisfied!

I would not call g08 tacky at all. But for sweaty hands it is the best I've found. Far more grip than slipping on a tacky (whilst dry) grip.

Agreed. Couldn't find the right word for "good grip". It doesnt "stick" on the palm like G10 when dry, but the quality of the grip remains even when it is wet. That's d best part.

Right! I have the towel grip!

    * Quality is decent
    * A little thinner than YY, perhaps closer to Victor
    * You get 12m, but the grip isn't as wide; I feel like you need a lot more length to do the racket

Well that was fast. Wait, Victor C1025 is thinner than AC402EX?

Ok I just looked at all 3 side by side.

At a glance, the YY and Victor look similar in thickness. However... The Victor towel grip is less tufty. This is especially noticeable when you bend the grip. The YY tends to have farbic that stands up more, so I'm guessing there are more fibres to it. RKEP is the same width as the victor grip, but is noticeably less rough than YY, and still less tufty than Victor.

Yeah I thought the same to be honest. I had the victor roll in my hand and a packet of ac402EX which when I tried to compare looked / seemed very similar to each other.

Just received my consignment of G08 grips ... 30 of them . Loved the G10 but the humid weather of Mumbai made sure that I had to look beyond that grip. Ordered 6 EX socks too. Hope they are as good as I thought

9 and 10 for me worked the best despite our weather. But I much preferred other grips here than them (due to our weather).

Better order fast! G08 running out of stock. I was told that it'll only be restocked in September.

I've been using the the G09 (black, red, blue, yellow) and it's an excellent grip due to the durability and tackiness. However, the white G09 is really bad for slightly sweaty hands. It's really slippery and unusable once wet.

Side note: I don't get why people are saying the G09 is like Yonex AC102. It's not as soft and thicker thus less stretchable. The only grip that comes close to AC102 is the Wilson Pro Overgrip.

Sharing my Reviews on RKEP G08 (different colors)

Have tested Pink, Yellow, Green and Blue RKEP G08 grips.

Pink is the worst in my opinion. The color looked good, but the grip somehow felt very different from the other 3 colors (same G08).
The Pink G08's surface will wear off after 2-3 sessions. The surface texture of the grip will feel dry and worn out, which are not seen from the other 3 colors.

For Green/Blue/Yellow, all felt great. I don't observe similar behaviour as the pink one. The surface texture felt like a PU grip. Soft, tacky, grippy.

My personal favourite is the yellow one. For whatever reasons, the yellow one doesn't have the "RKEP" labeling on the grip. it just felt slightly more cushiony as compared to green/blue. I'll stick to yellow G08's as my go-to grips now.
