I just wonder why many chinese WD are using original N50. But I find it one and test it, now I love to use too.
Looks like Chen Long is no longer using the N90IV, his new racket seemed to be the 3D Calibar 900 (black and gold). There's like three versions of that racket (900, 900B, 900D), including one with the old N90IV paint job (900B), which makes me think he's using a racket with different specs. I wasn't able to grab any good images from his match with Leverdez, so I'll await confirmation from others. If you're confused about Li-Ning's new naming scheme, so am I, but I think this page on our forum does a pretty good job of explaining: http://badmintoncentral.com/forums/...ning-n90iv-900-and-n9ii-fhf-ed.173121/page-12 see post #232
Not sure if it's a sticker or what, but the butt cap on LD's racket is different. It's white and black. Looks like the YY logo though.
Might be, it might also be an identification thing. As they're custom made, he's likely banned from throwing them out to crowds etc.
Could be. I always found it interesting how his grip evolved after 2008 olympics as he changed to a more rallying play style from smash and net. Especially with his switch to Li Ning as he still had the butt in 2008 on his armortec.
Not just now but since his switch to Li Ning. Early on he kept using the half grip but without a butt with n90, changed to weird grip with gap in between which he kept all the way through till he switched again to a blacked out zf2 in 2013 China masters I think. Nowadays it’s this weird grip with gap at the end. His grip now also looks very thick for some reason. As if he uses too many layers of plaster tape underneath. About the racket, idk. ZF2 with loads of lead tape wasn’t that bad but N90 felt proper heavy and even more slower after lead tape and plaster tape like his setup. I personally thought that was more harsh to play with than the relatively quick (for it’s specs) ZF2. That setup with attachments at 10, 12 and 2 visible underneath tape.
Yeah but without tape, the balance isn't as HH as the ZF2. May not have been as quick or what have you, but it wasn't as head heavy. His grip does look thick, but LCWs is also thick. It might be an age thing, in all seriousness. Finger power is great and all, but it gets stressful on tendons.
Yeah it really isn’t it’s more heavy throughout than the weird (but incredible) ratio zf2 as going on. LCW, he always has had that double rubber so it isn’t that surprising but with LD it is weird to see. I probably ought to give it a try sometime see how weird it feels.
One of the Taiwan MD, Lee Yang is using an all black Victor racket. Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
Bit too wild haha. The finish is glossy. The star wars piece is matte. Sent from my LG-H930 using Tapatalk
