Thought a picture of my current overgrip would be nice given I'm going towel on this racket as well. Weirdly, after seeing it for some reason a lot of people have wanted me to re wrap their grip in the complex.

This one was 50rs more than the ac420ex which is 100rs, Amazed by it's durability but I definitely need something a bit more, "big".

I change mine everyday as it wears out after 6 hours of hitting when I'm commuting in the metro so it's not as neat as I want it to be. Grip cut on both sides, stretched to it's maximum, applied and then the electric tape is cut in half to mimic the tape that's originally on a racket when purchased. I cut the grip at the racket's butt as well so it looks decent. This one is ready for the dustbin but thought I'd take a snap for here before it's thrown. I can't find good, smooth yonex overgrips anywhere in the market so I'm stuck with these for now.

Thinking of switching to tennis overgrips. Bleh.

Switched to 402ex back again. Sweat issue resolved somewhat.

I'm wondering..can you even wrap the towel from a packet all the way up like LYD? I wanted to try it. Albeit not very useful for single but was just interested in how it felt. Can it be stretched quite a bit? I haven't tried because all my rackets are the stringer shop ;_; but will tomorrow. Tried last time and it only went to the cone without a butt.

A basic left-handed grip that I used on all of my rackets. I love the ribs on the grip too as I have issue with sweaty plams and the ribs prevents fhe racket from slipping too much.

I use those hose tape to secure my grip to the cone. Non-sticky but it stays till I removed to change my grip.

Very neat! Didn't realise it was your leg in the background... Thought it was some kind of carpet! XD

Hahahaha...I have no idea how it could be perceived as that.

Update : After seeing some Lin Dan videos of the interval (never paid attention) I saw he doesn't have a buttcap on his racket and is able to hold it further down because of it. Always have struggled with that since I hold mine at the same position so I removed it and grinded down the grip size a bit as well. Already feels much better in hand but I won't say much else till I get to play with it tomorrow.

**Click on the picture to see a bigger version of it. I finished the grip with a quarter of a drop of feviquick / instant glue. It seems to always work better than tape nowadays since the area remains tacky plus the grip looks better as an added bonus.

Will you please stop using your hairy leg as a background for your racket pictures?:D

I'm not a fan of light colored grips as they tend to look obviously dirty when they get dirty. What I wish would be available are other exotic colors that could complement most rackets. I don't find much dark green, olive green, light & dark brown, navy blue, dark pink, burnt orange, dark gold grips.

Love the dark green shade for my raackets that have green colors.

A man must do what he has to do to get his iPad Air 2 to focus. :p

I personally go for the tackiest colors possible with the best performance with no regards to actual color. But I understand some people's preference regarding color so as to match it with their rackets. I guess they would look good but I'd always end up with "hey that ain't the best performing color out there" and stuff. What can I say, I'm a really monotonous person .

It was some Chinese seller....... it was sold as 'non slip heat shrink tube for fishing rod' or something like that. It's available in several colors.

I didn't need electrical heat shrink tube since it's not a VOLTric. (Yes I am tired.)

Lol ok, i'll give you one point for that because you're tired:p

But is that material tacky enough for an overgrip rather than wrapping it with a real overgrip? I like the patterns and the material quality looks good.

I'm just keen to know you stuffed back that staple after digging it out or retacked a new one?
