Hi SmartCivet Can't see your location from your profile. Wonder where are you from? 19-year-old Kendrik Lee is one of our recent best hopes and as you have rightly mentioned, he is the World Junior Championships 2002 Runner-Up in Pretoria, South Africa, the first such achievement by a Singaporean. I believe he is now doing National Service (military training for all male youths 18 years and above) which will be for at least 2 1/2 years. The last time, a request was made for him to complete his 3 months' basic training and thereafter to be allowed to continue his badminton training to bring him up to world-class. Unfortunately, little is known about this proposed arrangement now and I must confess that this request might have been turned down.
