It seems that BAM decided not to send them to Europe..I suspect that they have withdrawn from Denmark Open also...it seems those did not perform well in Macau Open /China Master/Japan Open.
    Ng Hu Lin/Woon Khe Wei
    Abdul Latif/Tan Kiong
    Lim Kin Wah/Woon Khe Wei

For LeeTsue Seng, French Open will be his 4th tournament in a row...( after Bulgaria, Dutch, DEN) so I speculated that he withdrew ...same as Ayob, instead of going 3 tourneys in a row, he decided 2..anyway.,.I amnot sure..just speculation...

why US can't have SS? still very puzzling? The last 5 stars('96.'97?) and World Championship 2005 were huge success ... :crying:
To nearest SS live we can watch is either Hong Kong or Japan Opens flying across Pacific Ocean, asides from internet streaming. Why don't Kwun do something?

    ^^Yeah...^^

..i know you want that 2005 WC feeling back, again, eh, Han??..:);)
Why doesn't kwun do something?? I think BC needs to pass somekind of petition, have like 10,000 signatures requesting BWF to hold a SS series in the U.S................oh wait, how many U.S.-based BCers are here??..

Back to the withdrawals, i think it's both good and bad. Bad in that the top players won't be participating. But good in that we'll see many new players, who haven't had exposures, competing...

    Very simple answer:

    a. Our US Badminon is not functioning eventhough our Paisan is on board.
    b. No sponsor
    c. also applying visa for INA, MAS or CHN takes longer ( another hurdle)

FRENCH OPEN - Xie and Pi still uncertain

XXF and PHY might withdraw also

France's best tournament may see two of it's best shuttlers withdraw as Xie Xingfang and Pi Hongyan are still uncertain to play. The latter's confirmation is still pending on medical advice, while Xie Xingfang has recently written on her blog that she wasn't thinking about travelling to Paris and rather wanted to stay and train in Beijing. Also, the French organizers received a first cancellation for Xie Xingfang before the cancellation was.. cancelled and Xie Xingfang back in the draw...This would deprive the French audience from last year's two finalists.

The Denmark Open has received a lot of withdrawls amongst which the top seed Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia and Taufik Hidayat, who have both made known that they were still willing to compete in France the week after.
