Well deserved win in the Orleans Masters. More potential compared to the independent pairs of Tan/Lai and GSH/Shevon. Have to cut down on the lack of focus and numerous unforced errors that nearly cost them the game against India in the QF.

Chen Tang Jie was stuck without a good partner for so long (mainly due to the lack of good female players in BAM) and he finally scores as soon as he gets a decent partner. It has been a long time coming.

Congratulations and hope for more to come!

A bright prospect with good potential. Hope they stay level headed if more success come their way.

Much more refreshing that the other 2 seasoned pairs who are on the wrong side of 30.

GSH doesn't have a powerful smash.
LPJ can only block net shots.
TKM is always out of breath.

Unfortunately the recently announced RTG (Road To Gold) program do not have them.

Hopefully sponsors and BAM keep their hands off these duo.
Let them continue to grow and stabilize first please.

Congratulations for winning the Taiwan Open. This cements them as one of the top pairs of the 3rd tier, hope they start getting more wins over the 2nd tier pairs too. Can see them challenging for a medal next year if they keep up the improvement and reduce their unforced errors.

Ten months of Olympic qualification left. Steady progress upwards. The top pairs are more likely to go downwards so everything to play for.
