Are you sure. Maybe there's been another version of the cab20special. The one I have in mind is from about 4-5 years ago. It comes in purple colour and looks very much like the cab20jp at that time (which also was a purple colour). We could be both right;)

Cooler, the only racquet that has tempted me is the Ti10. Other than that, I don't get tempted. Why change when I already have 'the best'!! I collected my cab20s years ago. The new versions are slightly different. The only thing I could change is my choice of strings. BG66 would be nice but it's such a pain to have to visit the stringer so often.

I think the Cab-20 Special is a little different from the Cab-20JP. I bought a pair of Cab-20 special along with a pair Cab-20JP04 last year and they felt differently. For me, the Cab-20 special felt stiffer than the JP ones.

Hi Cheung, I read from another post that you disliked Ti10. Now it sounds like you like Ti10. What makes you change your mind? :)

Which Ti10 did you try, is it the new or old color scheme? 2U or 3U? Please share with us. :)

    Sorry for being OOT.

    hi bluejeff,

i've just borrowed my friend's cab 20 special for a few matches tonight. my feeling is different from yours!:p just as i said before. it's pretty much the same as my cab 20 original reissue.
and now. i really wanna compare a jp2004 and a jp2005. but at this moment. i don't have a 2004 cab 20jp in 2u. i will have one this weekend. but saddly, it's in 3u!:crying:
so, if i have a chance to make a comparison between those to cab 20jp. i m gonna share my feeling with u guys here.:)

    cheers

Red, do you know any other places besides BBE which would still carry originals?

    How about in HK?

    Thanks

Hi Red, Most of my Cab 20s are different when regarding the stiffness, start from flex to stiff, the sequence will be:

    Cab 20 SP lavender
    Cab 20 SP Orange
Cab 20 MA and Cab 20 CN
    Cab 20 HK (old version)
    Cab 20 JP

As per my previous messages, each Cab 20s are slight different, even the 2 Cab 20 SP which I bought at the same time, the stiffness are also different. I really don't know which one is on Spec........:D

yes, luxis sports hk still carries a real cab 20 original with kr code. the price is more than 2000 hk dollars. and forrest is right. emmy sports hk got some reissue. i guess it's around 700 hk dollars.
p.s (emmy sports was recently renamed as kin yee sports.)

Hi everyone, i have a question here, i am curious to know which cab20 shoul i buy if i want the one that ressemble the most to the original cab20, because after reading all of your post. It seems that all cab 20 are different and became another racket.
    thx in advance

Must be my skill got better:p Let's see. I tried teh old colour scheme. And I've also tried Ti103U last year which was too light for me.

I got cab20 kr. Haven't strung them yet but they look good!;)
This may be accounted by interbatch variation. Who knows - perhaps racquets made in the winter feel slightly different to those made in the summer.

Even if I get racquets restrung by the same stringer, same string, same type of racqeut, the strings feel a little different.

Maybe one day we should have a cab20 gathering hehehe:)

Inskysports also has the Cab 20 KR in old logo lavender colour, last time I bought the E-1000, I asked for the price and Ah Tung offer HK$1900 to me. It is a little bit cheaper the Luxis.
