Hi HongHong, Sad to hear that your favourite player is not coming. However, I hope you won't be too sad as there will be others worth watching as well. I too felt like that when most of my fav players failed to turn up in one of the All England edition, but it ended up as enjoyable as the rest of the editions. Since you are going to KL already, you might as well watch the quarters and the semis. If the finals does not suit you, you can opt to head back to Singapore and be home earlier. You might as well make the best of the situation. Cheer up.

official hotel both players n official will be staying at Federal Hotel,Jalan Bukit Bintang and Maluri Value Inn ,Jalan Maluri(behind Jaya Jusco).... i think honghong is going to enjoy her stay there
tat's one of the reason y i pick Federal... though it's more exp.... hahaha cos the TC qualifying in Feb, they staying in Federal oso n silvia stayed in Federal tat time... n she had a good time during breakfast to c all of them.... especially Lin Dan...... arghhh i wasn't there so this time who is staying in Federal??? i go stalk them.... hahahaha but my fave Xuanze not going leh.... if not i'm sure i'll 100% enjoy my KL trip

I'd say the semifinals, where it's only one step away from a chance to become the champion. Same in football - the English FA Cup, it's most hotly and well contested the most during the semis. Some of the very best matches are semifinal matches. I wonder why does the excitement of the finals doesn't seem to match that of the semis? Both semis and finals are equally or more exciting in team events, such as TC/UC for example, but less so in individual events.
spotted just now when i went to sungei wang and bukit bintang ...i saw few japanese ...at 1st i thought was tourist... but later when i saw 1 of them holding a copy of the ABC draw ....then only i knew they are the baddy player...... but ...i dunno who are they.... i think they play for the double as they're looking at the double draw...maybe woman's double.. i dunno...it's too small... i saw them inside the supermarket i was thinking to talk to them...but dunno what to talk about... then later at bukit bintang.... i saw 4 to 5 indonesia players.... coz 1 of them is wearing yonex track bottom... he look very familier... but can't recall who... when i told my mom about it... she ask me why don't i talk to them ?!?!? like hello...are you here for the Abc tournament?? AHHHHHH!!! why i never think of that never mind... even if i do...i don't have the guts to even go up to them and say hi or even wave at them ...
wonder if i bump into them at hotel lobby or wat..... donno how i will react.... mayb i dare not talk to them or even say hi..... but muz get ready my autograph book n camera
btw wat's the schedule of the matches??? mayb when i reach on fri... i can go watch quarter... if not then i watch semi on sat
If you miss them at the Federal hotel, you can always find them at night at Jalan Alor when they go for their supper. This is where you can find them in a big group and when they are not in a hurry to rush off-ideal for autographs and, yes, questions on anything. If you speak mandarin, you should have no problem.
