Ihsan Maulana Mustofa is the last hope for host Indonesia to book final berth but on paper it looks mission impossible for this young man to topple five-time winner and strong favourite Lee Chong Wei. Mustofa has quite favourable draw, none of seeded players on his path to semifinal including disposed the Englishman Rajiv Ouseph in last eight. The unstoppable Lee outclassed his opponent from first round and only needed 28 minutes to enter last four as Wang Zhengming retired at early of second game. Ko SH/Kim HN are surrounded by three Chinese pairs, the reigning Olympic champion and former winner Zhang N/Zhao YL will be their semifinal hurdle.
