hasn't he done the olympic schedule before? he would know what it takes and the level of fitness that he needs? he didn't make it to finals in all of those tournaments so it's not like he hasn't had a few little rest periods? and the Korean players have been playing more than 5 consequative tournaments for a while now and they can still do well (or at least they try). I'm not even hating on him I'm just asking why other players can manage it and he needs rest? something "negative" about lin dan doesn't mean it's hate lol

I really don't think it's the fitness that could trouble a player like LD, "even at this age". Surely he trains several hours a day and also every athlete should be able to play a few competitive matches a week for quite some time. He also lost quite early for his standards in too many tournaments and until QF he rarly stresses himself that much atm!!

What I probably accept as an excuse is the mental aspect together with the traveling playing many tournaments in a row. BUT its the same for most athletes and GPG China and AC are both in China what is obviously a whole different story to his pride.
Too much talk about tiredness imo, esp for Lin Dan. It is almost all about his attitude towards a tournament, how much he is interested to invest and how hard he fights if it is not the easy way! And I don't want to say he goes to a SS or SSP being not interested, but it often looks like he just can't find the inner motivation to give it more than an easy walk what really can't be enough to beat the whole competitive Top15 MS field. Combined with this obvious strategy to take care about his body as much as possible we see this up and downs all the way to Rio from him.

Anyway I hope we get to see a LCW - LD SF here. That's what all of us wish to see ;) It would be another nice suprise after the great CL - LD match last week!

Zulfadli does not have the legs to play 3 games. Should have killed the game once he was 17-15 up in the 2nd.

But unfortunately Momota is out of the race, so Japan will run out power in their MS.

Tee Jing Yi won the 1st set against Wang Yihan. Wang Yihan would be in trouble if can't get pass Jing Yi.

Wei Nan is at least 10 years older than ZZ.

Don't be mistaken, I merely posing an innocent question to you, that's all. It doesn't mean just because we disagree we must be quarrelling. Take it as a simple exchange of opinion.

I believe Lin Dan knows full well what he's doing and why. He's got his priority and game plan, and I respect that. As I've said before, don't win a battle but lose the war; in other words, Pyrrhic victory.

I think there's nothing negative about Lin Dan, afterall he has already won 2 olympics golds. Probably he doesn't want to be injured or get himself too tired since the olympics only a few months time.

But I think WYH will probably win it in the 3rd set.
