    Just a thought.

In scheduling the timetable, could BWF consider the likely weather conditions that could affect the attendance of both the audience and possibly the players.

Foreign visitors should welcome good weather in general as they wish to see more of the host country and have a taste of its culture, food, and other interesting items.

If snow, heavy rain, floods, strong winds, etc, are expected during that time of the year, BWF should avoid holding its tournaments there, especially those that offer very high prize money.

I expect England to be cold and wet during this time of the year, therefore it may not be ideal to stage the AE there in March. Maybe Summer is a better time. So too will most of the European countries.

On the other hand, the Southeast Asian countries are generally fine all the year round, even with the Monsoons.

But Eastern Asia is perhaps a little different from Europe and having the Hongkong Open in November may also be not too ideal for attendance.

To avoid Nature's wrath whenever possible will afford the visitor greater convenience and enjoyment.
