Two final tickets have been secured by Chinese shuttlers through MS and MD. Denmark also has sealed 1 MS final berth. It's senior v junior from same nation for top and bottom half of draw, who will win tomorrow? Current world #1 and world champion Chen Long will meet the in-form Tian Houwei who won AUS Open in 2013 when its status was still GP Gold, interesting to know that this is their first meeting in international tournament. The other semifinal clash will pit Jorgensen against his younger compatriot Axelsen who created headline at first round to knock out defending champion Lin Dan. European jewel, Carolina Marin has big chance to book another final here as she will take on Sung Ji Hyun who suprisingly overcame top seed Li Xuerui in quarterfinal. China last hopeful, Wang Shixian will face her routine opponent, none but Bae Yeon Ju, head to head is 15-2 for the Chinese #2 and their last meeting was last month Badminton Asia Championships when the Korean won straight games. The rarity happens in MD department where three China pairs cruise to final four and one of them, Chai B/Hong W will try to break Korean formidable and consistent duo also last year champion Lee YD/ Yoo YS. Liu C/ Lu K looks promising when they tamed reigning world champion Ko SH/Shin BC with their explosive display, so fast and solid defense as well. Two Chinese WD will challenge top two seeds of tournament, Tang JH/Tian Q v Matsutomo/Takahashi and Ma J/Tang YT v Pedersen/Juhl. It shows China supreme quality in this discipline as they only bring 2 pairs and all of them through to last four, interesting to follow these two semifinal ties as Japanese and Danish combo are considered their biggest threat so far. A healthy draw in XD category when all four semifinal berths filled by pairs from different nation. Defending champion Ko SH/Kim HN who scored uninspiring performance at Sudirman Cup couple of weeks ago turned pretty impressive as they subdued CHN #2 Xu C/Ma J in marathon 81 minutes match, another dangerous Chinese combo is waiting them, the shining star Liu C/Bao YX. At bottom half of draw, we'll see the battle of third seed Ahmad/Natsir v the underdog Reginald Lee CH/Chau HW. The INA XD should be wary to this HKG pair as they disposed one of hot favourite Fischer/Pedersen in last eight. LIVE TV (court 1, 01.00pm local time) matches : 1) Reginald Lee Chun Hei/Chau Hoi Wah (HKG) v Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir (INA) 2) Ma Jin/Tang Yuan Ting (CHN) v Christinna Pedersen/Kamilla Rytter Juhl (DEN) 3) Jan O Jorgensen (DEN) v Viktor Axelsen (DEN) 4) Sung Ji Hyun (KOR) v Carolina Marin (ESP) 5) Lee Yong Dae/Yoo Yeon Seong (KOR) v Chai Biao/Hong Wei (CHN)
I want to think in that way, after all such all-Danish affair in the MSSF is a rarity indeed Alternatively, they can leave out that MS and stage the more interesting WD instead. But the organizer may think that there have been too many Asian faces there and try to balance the mixes; hence, we have DEN vs DEN in TV court
Ooh, the H2H is still 0-0. I thought that Chen's walkover during the BAC 2015 semifinal was counted as a loss to Tian.
Any chance of an all KOR affair in the WS? Quite possible, I think. H2H is 15-2 in favour of WSX but the last two meetings went to BYJ and she has improved a lot, especiallly her power shots.
YIKES!!!!! there was some power issue in the data center where the BC servers are located. took them a few hours to fix it.

i don't get why people can't seem to just ignore the screaming. i mean when you ignore it we have to admit CM is n amazing player. in fact, i find WSX's shrieking 10 times more annoying but i've learnt to ignore that also.
I don't know, unless you're deaf, I guest normal people don't have the superpower to intentionally filter out any sounds they don't like. Especially when they just scream right into your face, or actually ears, no idea how you can ignore that.
We will have a battle of not only the badminton skills but who has the loudest voice in tomorrow's WS final.
