permai sport dont carry carlton! i only found 1 pathetic airblade 800 there.. the guy told me carlton is "uncle" brand wtf....only uncle buy that brand...
The new Carlton rackets can be found in Royal Sporting House (RSH) outlets in Malaysia. If u r in PJ, try visiting the outlets in 1 Utama Shopping Centre.
I think the Elite is for single players, for British No.1 player Richard Vaughan is using Airblade Elite. I don't know and actually doubt if there is any big difference b/t the new airblade elite and 2003 airblade lite, because Carlton just got ride of the lite in 2005 series. Maybe it is just a change of the name. Here is a picture of Airblade Elite vs. Powerblade Elite rackets.
They are different, the Lite was a cheap version, and it was head light. This is a brand new, top of the range, head heavy racquet
Carlton Badminton Racket Hi, I'm interesting to buy Carlton Powerblade Badminton Racket, anyone know online shopping near indonesia. Thank you for your information.
and how exactly is it a cheap version? just because its cheaper? its still made of the same materials as the superlite, the tour, and the elite! if being cheaper in price makes it a cheap racquet, then good for you. to me, and some others i'm sure, the lite was still a great racquet.
check the post dates, fast3r posted his post last year!! ice tea, id start your own post mate, maybe in the marketplace folder!
It's a cheap version because it doesn't cost as much as the Elite, of course being lower in price makes it a cheap racket, relative to the Elite. I never said that I thought it was a bad racket as the cost says nothing about the quality, I've never even used it but if it works for you then great
I just saw the rackets today at studio R in KLCC. when i hold it, it feels good in your hands. i've a feeling this is good stuff.
I got my business associate to buy for me the Powerblade Elite from KL's RSH outlet last week. I got it strung with BG80 at 24lbs and tried it out yesterday. Although it was said as head-heavy, I donot feel that - it is more even balanced to me. It is a good all-round racket as advertised. I used to play with Woven 8A, and Powerblade Elite has similar manoeuvrability in double as Woven 8A but pack a little more power in smash. I struggled on a few net shot but guess it was due to unfimilarity. I will try it out again tomorrow. But so far the impression is excellent, esp. it only cost MYR269. I would say it is a good double racket and also suitable for ladies who prefer a light yet able to generate some power racket.
Where's the balance point for the airblade? (As for the lenght I believe it is a standard one, am I not right?)
Actually last friday i wanted to buy the powerblade elite from JUSCO(ipoh) but that one got scratches, so i still searching a new one. and i have buy the New PowerFlo 807 is cheap but is a nice racket ... any one see PowerBlade Elite in JB? i can't find it......
Hi sorry to awake an old thread. I want to know more about Carlton PowerBlade Elite because I can get it for half price where I live, so please anyone tested, have or can make a review of this racket? Thx in advance
