    I've found it!

    Yonex B-8100 Blacken:

    Stainless Shaft
    External T-joint
    Feels really stiff to me
Original strings with old yy logo (16lbs)???
    Serial no 4122SP
    old karakal pu grip
not in great condition (lots of scratches around the top but structurally fine)

Some really crabby one about 15 years ago - have got rid of it already. First "real" Yonex racquet was cab 8xxx something, which I bought about 6 years ago (got rid of that one too).

at that time a brand new cab 8 (b-8500) was about 180 hk dollars! it's a bit pricy for me as a junior high student in 1983!

I still got my first yonex racket, an Isometric 20- made of aluminium and steel, seriously bent outta shape now though. I know the racket really isn't that old but I'm only 16...:D

I still got my first yonex, totally playable too. a Cab 10..

but dunno if it is real or not thou. it didn't matter to me that time, just as long as i get to play, i am was happy. Too much "ideas" nowadays...:crying:

"ideas" as in "Wow, i will play better with a ISO head, rather a Oval cab.." or "Hey, I am going to play better today just because i am using a MP99":p

My first yonex was a MP27. However, it died 4months after with a clash against...an admirable adversary... I then bought a MP66..that died as well. Now i stick with BlackKnight rackets :D

Mine was purchased in the early 80's... I don't remember what it was named, but it was a steel shaft/aluminum head that was bright orange with white strings... thing lasted me through highschool.

I think mine was like a Cab-20 or something like that in the 80s, but I can't seem to remember precisely.
