i think sleeveless shirt work great in badminton, more cooling.

runners and track athletes use them, why not in badminton too.

It is good.. however your hands will have more sweats dripping down from your arms.

imho, runners and track athlete either:

    - runs for a few seconds or a few minute and they are done. so they don't sweat as much as badminton.

    - when they run, they are facing continuous airflow which help evaporation

in badminton, the are a lot of short sprints with direction change so the amount of relative airflow is small. add to that the long exercise time sweat tends to stay on the body surface longer. as a result, i agree with ants that a short sleeve shirt will absorb more sweat and prevent sweat from dripping down the arm.

actually, what i found most interesting is the location of a big YY logo at the back of the shirt.

Yeah, so he will be sitting "on" Yonex :p

The interesting thing is, since the shirt is from Yonex, does that mean this type of shirt will be a new trend as for the official shirt of badminton?

The whole outfit looks as if it came from a ladies wear range

I think it should be pointed out that this gear is NOT the new Danish team outfit. Jonassen said that he didn't mind wearing it "for fun" in the Copenhagen Masters, but he would not wear it this season in IBF tournaments -- at least not the sleeveless shirt.

Slightly off topic, can somebody tell me where you can get one of those knee supports Jonassen is wearing?
