Just got back from a good tournament,

I must say that the people in no cal are kinda stuck up and real intense. Made in to the semis and then when we were up 6-1, our opponent decided that they wanted a serve judge b/c he said our serves were illegal???? Serve Judge in a "friendly" tournament?? It wasnt like we were getting any advantage of our serves! So, my partner was so cautious that he made many unforced errors and we ended up losing in 3 sets. We should have easily won that match and should have been in the finals. Oh well, that is my first and last time going up to play in that tournament, I just never thought that "friendly" meant calling a serve judge?

You can't really say that people in northern cal. are stuck up since it was just two people. Too bad we didn't meet up since we were both at the same tournament. I arrived there at about 815 and was the first to start hitting on the court with my partner. Later on, I got a bit tired so I went out near the desk where they call out the matches and layed there for a bit with my other friend. I couldn't fall asleep since I was scared I might slip through the railings. My friend fell asleep, but woke up later to get to her match. Where did you stay? It would have been funny if you were right next to us the whole entire time.
