    Default Arc-zslash & Ns9900 & At900t???

    Hello everyone, I currently have...

    AT900T
    ARC10
    MP100
    NCTUFF9

I am currently thinking of keeping AT900T and sell two racquets (ARC10, MP100, and/or NCTUFF9) and buy a new racquet. I am thinking of Arcsaber Z-Slash (sorry if I misspelled it wrong) or Nanospeed 9900.

Which racquet should I sell? Also which racquet should I get? I am currently falling towards Arcsaber Z-Slash but I am also interested in Nanospeed 9900.

    This is how I play...

What I play: Mainly Doubles and Mixed Doubles (But also plays singles)

Style: Offensive all around player with okay skills at the net. (Mainly smashes)

Doubles: I play more often in the front
Mixed: Play in the back (because I'm a guy ahaha)

...If you guys need more information about me, please ask me and I will reply to you guys asap. Thank you in advance!

    - Hamachu

Im lucky enough to own 3 rackets you questioned. Considering what you said, I say go for NS9900 i find it the best racket for me too

NS9900 is far better than Arcsabre Z-Slash. Arcsabre Z-Slash is powerful unless all you do is smash and no defence when you play

Since you mainly play doubles, I think NS9900 would be better. I quite like both the Z and NS9900 myself.

I find that NS9900 is a very good if not the best double racket out there. Great in defence and movement, without sacrificing too much on power at all. Its very stiff and head light, this combination will give you ideal attacking double racket

AT900T, is avery good racket on its own right. I find it to be a little head heavy and less stiff compare to NS9900. So i think the idea was to use the flx shaft to creat better control while its heavy head will provide a bit more power in smash

Arc Z is a great racket too if you are a single player, its a beast in smash power. Its head heavy and very stiff. Smaller head size and longer shaft. This is no doubt designed to kill with smashes

i would say ARCZ is no doubt the best smasher there lol ( depends on your style.. but if not then AT900T ), if you know how to use arcz and know how to get use the racket speed, then its without the best racket for you, headheaviness and the long shaft should give you a kick on the smashes, and the small headsize and the stiffness is the best combination so it'll be easier to use the stiffness to your advantage, i dont know but arcz is great, good control, and okay on defence still pretty good, but then i prefer my arc10 better all-round, not only i can flex the shaft correctly to get good smashes, is perfect for my deceptions, and on defence is wonderful

I've owned / own all three, so I'll chime in. I also got rid of them all, if that says anything

The 9900 is great if you have a fast arm, because it relies almost purely on racket headspeed for power. It's one of the best doubles rackets out there, but wouldn't be my first choice for singles.

The 900T is a great singles weapon, but there are faster doubles rackets out there. Very head heavy so unless you're particularly strong, it can feel like the racket is leading you rather than you leading the racket.

The Z I really tried very hard to love. In singles it's a beast, but unless you're very well drilled it's very unforgiving. Unfortunately my skills are just not up to this racket and it's small sweetspot exacerbates the problem.

As I said, I no longer own any of these so I can't really recommend any of them as the ultimate all-rounder. I honestly think Yonex is still trying to fill that niche, with maybe the Arc10 being closest so far (and maybe the 8DX, but I haven't tried that yet.)

Does the 8DX have aerodynamic feel like 9900 with more velocity on the head?

8dx have a bits of all these 3 rackets...its like a pizza where u can taste a quarter of every flavours from the original pizza...
if u want specific racket then u most go to that specific feature offer by the racket.
the message was there no prefect rackt with all major feature....unless the racket can transform..hehehhe

    I have AT900P, AT900T, and NS9900, all 3U.
I feel very comfortable with both AT900P & T, and I totally agree with the description so far for NS9900 regarding its stiffness and light weight for Doubles play, but why do I feel the NS9900 vibrates a lot as if its a cheapo racket ? I have sore elbow after the game with NS9900, I don't have this elbow problem if I use only the AT900, they are strung at about the same tension, 25-26lbs.
I really like to play with NS9900 as it gives me the most performance, but also require much energy due to its stiffness.

i find myself playing with my at900p more often then my ns9900. i guess its just that i dont have a good enough arm/wrist power to use it to its best potential

what make u enjoy NS990 so much even u have sore elbow pain after using them? maybe u like its head lightness for net playing and your controling game in court.

racket vibrates more when shaft stiffness is high. racket vibrates less when shaft is flex as its absorb them all...

I compared them NS9900 vs NS9000X side by side in a shop, both strung with BG66@24lbs, the NS9900 vibrates so much comparing to NS9000X which seems able to absorb the shocks better.

    my personal view, comparing my 3u ns9900 4u at900t and 3u arc8dx:
    power: arc8dx > ns9900 = at900t
    speed: ns9900 > arc8dx = at900t
    control: ns9900 = arc8dx = at900t

all 3 are excellent rackets to me, but arc8dx drains my energy relatively faster than the other 2. hope that helps.
