of course it is but how about Cow Chipping? It requires great strength and technique just like badminton. There are cow chipping world championships even! http://www.thesylvaherald.com/B-Croft032802.htm made me wonder: what makes Badminton a sport more so than Cow Chipping? Or are they both equally a sport?
Wow...hahahahahahahahaha.... sorry to be rude but wow....that's one sport i WON'T be trying.... trowing hardended cow crap isn't really my thing....but hahahahaha....only in America...no offense to Americans.
dude. that takes courage. i wonder if that's any different than badminton. i mean, heck, that's just the same motion. and i wonder if they are as "equipment" fanatic as some of us... the article does look rather suspicious though, you know, coming out at the end of March, beginning of April....
Speaking of which... I read on a magazine a whiel ago, ppl somewhere actually toss Toilets around... n they call that a sport too... so... *Imagine the Possibilities*
Excrement is not as far away from the mainstream as you might think. Great Britain once had to play an away tie in the Davis Cup in India and the court was made from dried crap. Although I am a little interested in what the playing characteristics of the court might be, I am not so interested as to play on one to find out. Especially if it is raining.
Of cause they are. The breed of cows, what kind of grains and hay they are fed on, the humidity and therefore the rate of drying all make a difference! I have seen this "sport" on ESPN. It is probably the precursor sport to discus throwing. I think it is much more macho than synchronous diving!
search for "cow chip championship" gets 3700 results! Not as popular as badminton but definetly not fake. I'm just thinking all the arguments we used to say badminton is a sport applies to cow chipping as well. I'm not sure that really takes courage per se so much as extreme boredom.... who woke up one day and wanted to see if they could throw dung further than their friends!!??
In my opinion badminton is more of a sport than any other, but i'm sure lots of people will not agree with me. Anyway i definitely won't be trying cow chipping.
I think i saw a video of one of the guys ironing their shirt during a sky dive. I think the shirt got more wrinkles though.
Taken from the cow chip article... "You get two throws; judges take the best of the two," she said. "Sometimes contestants lick their fingers between the two throws." ... I think that says it all right there.
I seen this once on TV. It's a minority sport but I don't think confined to US. If people need to lick their fingers, tell them they may contract SARS from it
What! So technically this is a "bigger" sport than badminton considering ESPN shows this sport and not badminton! Doh!
Hehehe~ But if licking petrified cow excrement doesn't phase these people... who knows, maybe they'll be immune to SARS as well!
