OK, I think someone hacked his email and wrote this mail...

I checked the email, and it's the same email from where he answered a question about 9 days ago... (ljbiba@hotmail.com)

    OK, here we go:

Subject: I NEED YOUR URGENT HELP...

    Hello,

How are you doing today? I am sorry I didn't inform you about my traveling to Malaysia for a program called "Empowering Youth to Fight Racism, HIV/AIDS, Poverty and Lack of Education. The program is taking place in three major countries in Asia, which are Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia. It has been a very sad and bad moment for me, the present condition that i found myself is very hard for me to explain.

I am really stranded in Malaysia because I forgot my little bag in the Taxi where my money, passport, documents and other valuable things were kept on my way to the Hotel am staying, I am facing a hard time here because i have no money on me. I now owe a hotel bill of $1,400 and they wanted me to pay the bill soon or else they will have to seize my bag and hand me over to the Hotel Management. I need this help from you urgently to help me back home, I need you to help me with the hotel bill and i will also need $2,000 to feed and help myself back home. So please can you hel me with a sum of $3,400 to sort out my problems here? I need this help so much and on time because i am in a terrible and tight situation here, I don't even have money to feed myself for a day which means i had been starving, so please understand how urgent i need your help.

I am sending you this e-mail from the city Library, I will appreciate what so ever you can afford to send me for now and I promise to pay back your money as soon as i return home. So please let me know on time so that i can forward to you the details of one of the hotel manager you need to transfer the money to me through Money Gram or Western Union.

Hope to hear from you soon. The embassy here have already promised to give me a covering traveling papers that i will need to have my way back home, all i need right now is the money to settle up the bills and leave.

Thanks and get back to me soon.
    with Kind regards

    Lee

    Any comments???

It just means that someone has forged an email purporting to come from LJB. Email addresses are easy to fake. Check the email headers to see where the actual message were being routed through. See sample below and you can traced the path from the originating email server of the sender to the recipent.

    .
xt6666... Is Lee Jae Bok a close friend of yours?

Before you help, you should meet up with him in person.

    2. I won't send any money of course...

I just wanted to have some comments...

I will test the header, at the moment I have problems to see it with my email program...

    EDIT:

    Look just reply:

    Hi Lee Jae Bok,

Your coaching videos are awesome, and now I totally pwned my baddie mates by simply following the fundamentals laid down by you in the videos.

Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia? Small potatoes on the badminton scene. They won't know you at all, should you step into, say, Nusa Mahsuri, or any national badminton training centre.

Please, I'm !Bilae from South Africa. You're in luck as I have millions to transfer out of the country. But can you spare a small token amount to secure the transaction first?

There is exactly zero percent chance of it being legit. I have received a similar message before and you can find details about this scam on the net.

LEt's say there is a 0,0000001% chance that the email is "REAL":

So ibbs.tv will never upload new videos! :-(

    Obviously it's fake.

I suspect Lee has been the victim of an email worm -- one that sends out messages from his account to everyone on his contact list. Nasty. :(

We have reports from quite a few Malaysians and Singaporeans about this email.
    It's clearly a scam.

PS: If anyone's facing a problem with having too much money, I'm absolutely willing to receive some or all of it :)

oh well, the fact that these types of emails are still going around means there are actually people still falling for them.

or they're trying to invent better sounding emails to ease our souls. there might be some, but i doubt that many fall for them. it honestly cracks me up reading these kinds of emails.

this is probably one of the best i've read: Empowering Youth to Fight Racism, HIV/AIDS, Poverty and Lack of Education.

or: this email has been in circulation since 1883......
