    Hi everyone,

I am looking for a pair of mizuno shoes. I hope they meet the below requirements

    Lightness
    Comfortability
    Good grip
    Durability

I do not really care about the price. But I really hope that I could get a good pair of mizuno shoes.(cause I am currently using yonex exceed plus god knows how long ago it was produced.bought it for 20 bucks)

I have heard of good reputation from Mizuno.

Yes, I second this, both shoes give you good supports, comfortable and good grip.

Before I switched to Mizuno Wave Fang RX, I am using Yonex SHB F1 Neo LTD, guess what this shoes power cushion worn out in 3 months (have a big hole in the middle of the insole), furthermore the shoes lateral supports is quite bad and I almost twisted my ankles.

As for Yonex SHB02 LTD, I never try this shoes but what I know if you have wide feet, you won't feel comfortable wearing this shoes.

FYI, both Wave Fang RX and SHB F1 Neo LTD are designed for wide feet.

There is a 2014 edition of Wave Fang Pro. It looks very different than its previous edition.

For Mizuno Wave Fang RX, you can get from Honly JB for RM290 (current conversion rate will be SGD98.30), value for money bro.

There is one thing about Mizuno. They don't have lateral claws, like Yonex, which some people may like.

I do not really care about the lateral claws. I think they look more awkward. They might do some help but tottaly not for its durablility. Thanks for your advice too!:)

They are regular width models (3E), the Mizuno 'Super Wide' (4E) and Yonex Wide (4E) are designed for wide feet. The narrow models are 2E but the majority of Mizuno are 3E (so eventhough it has a label with 'wide', the majority of them have it so not really specially designed for wide feet)

the heels of Mizuno's are thinner than Yonex's. I think that's why it's easier to sprain your ankle with Yonex's.

Been using Yonex shoes for a while now, but i find the quality and durability is lacking. The rubber out sole gets hard/degraded really fast and the overall wear quality is bad, gets worn quickly. However, i too wanna try Mizuno but the wave fang series designed for badminton isnt available in the west.

Was thinking of trying the Wave Stealth 3 or Wave Mirage. The wave stealth 3 is made for handball but looks strikingly like a Yonex SHB-01.

Can anyone say if these two shoes are suitable for badminton? My main concerns are ankle stability and grip. And of course durability. SH_X1GA140022_01.jpg SH_X1GA140022_02.jpg SH_X1GA140022_03.jpg SH_X1GA155009_01.jpg SH_X1GA155009_02.jpg SH_X1GA155009_03.jpg

    Hi everyone,

Can people confirm that Wave Fang is the only model specificly designed for Badminton? In Europe, Wave Fang is not available to purchase.

Umm actually some people prefer non specific ones for badminton to specific ones volleyball ones work almost just as fine just with a little less grip.
