Whats more revealing is that many of these names aren't in the Forbes 100...
Good to show that they are giving back more than their fair share.
Someone show this list to Mayweather please.

People like Tiger Woods (who started their own charitable foundations) might give a lot more than others... But it just doesn't come directly out of their own pockets.

There is a proverb. "All glitters are not gold". We should appreciate these people give back to society from their hard earned money. Where are sachin tendulkar , Mahendra singh dhoni and virat kohli ?

I congratulate Saina nehwal for such a lovely heart . I salute her. Jai hind.

John Cena probably puts in more time to charity work each year than the rest of the list combined. Even if that's not true, it doesn't alter the fact that he really makes an effort for children. He does something like 500-600 Make-a-Wish Foundation visits a year.

Sach is the driving force behind Apnalaya which runs in Anjali's mom's name. The electrification campaign for 200 villages run thru UN and Coke Fndtn, only the end of 200 children is direct. So you won't find the Lords name in this list of mere mortals

Even i heard about it. But we all know how much money a person can earn in badminton (Definitely, a very very meagre amount when compared to other sports). Still a person from badminton fraternity appears in the charitable players' list. I think that is really commendable. We have to appreciate it. Even though LCW and Lindan are earning more than Saina Nehwal , she has that inner intuition to do this .

It's actually true. He puts twice the time as the rest of the list combined and in 2014 he did 1407 MAWs

This list is as inaccurate as the Forbes list of retired sports people. Li Ning earns 6 times as much as MJ as do all the retired Emirati shooters like Sheik Al Maktoum (now a minister) or all the royal Olympians like Felipe, King of Spain. Crown Prince of Netherlands. Anne, Princess Royal or Zara Phillips.
