    hi guys , i am looking for a Badminton shoe and i've search a couple of the threads and quite a few recommend Sh8500 Victor Shoe. So anyone can tell me if it's good or not?

    A little info about me :
    177cm
    82kg
    play 2 days per week (4-5hrs per day)
    play in indoor sports hall

    Additional Question : I've seen a few Sh8500 But it comes in different alphabet if i'm not wrong. (e.g Sh8500J , 8500E etc).
    But in Singapore , i only manage to find 'J' in Chris Shop at Amk.
    So please give me some enlightenment about the shoes :p if not , recommend me a shoe :)

    Thank you guys sincerely

    SH8500 is a wide shoe. If you have wide feet it would be perfect. I had them a few years ago. They were decent shoes but the support around the ankle was not the best which I tried. It was good, but SH A850 and SH 820 were better.

    My rating and impression:

    comfort fitting: 8500 > 850 >= 820
    cushion: 850 = 820 > 8500
    support: 820 > 850 > 8500
    weight: 820 > 8500 > 850
    breathing: 850 >> 8500 >= 820
    wideness: 8500 > 850 > 820

    I actually use 820, but IMO 850 is overall the better shoe. It's lighter with a good cushion and a nice ventilation. Especially for tournaments and long session it feels the most comfortable, because it transfers the sweat really good and alot better than other shoes.

    The Victor colour codes are D = red (but they're mostly white), E = yellow and J = purple.

    The 8500 is extremely popular, so much so that pro's are still wearing them to this day.
