    Hi Guys,

So I recently finished playing a tournament about a week ago. Feeling extremely tired and sore after wards but after a day of rest I felt fine so I went back to playing at my local club. As I am warming up everything feels fine but when a game starts I cannot seem to play as well as I did before the tournament. I felt really drained really fast. I am not able to focus when playing my shots or to even hit a nice powerful smash anymore. Has anyone else ever felt like this or know what I should do to not feel so out of it?

Fatigue can be physical (not this case) but also mental (which is underestimated). Likely you have an element of mental fatigue proving a bit slow to shake off.

Maybe because the lactic acids and other wastes aren't completely flushed out and your body hasn't restocked it's glycogen. So do active rest (moving your body with lower intensity) and eat properly
