Let's contribute more helpful videos on backhand clear to bring all of us to the next level of fun :)

    Backhand by Nguyen Tien Minh

You may start watching from 0:21 of the video and slow it down further to study the technique

That's because she's a small kid... so a normal racket looks big.

    Ummm... I have only 2 complaints :
    1. It's a left hander. In which case the video is really only relevant to 10% of the population.

    2. It's made by Pron8, but we all know that backhand requires one to Supin8. ;)

All I'm saying is that for a righty like me to watch a lefty slow mo and to try and apply that for myself, I just find it very difficult.

I know, I can always flip the video right to left if I wanted to, like one of the slow mo videos of LD smashing, but that video wasn't even useful other than showing supination. It didn't even hit a shuttle for goodness sakes. No elbow extension, no proximal to distal transfer of force. Only supination. And it was made by someone named Prona8. :p

I think a common error many players do with backhand clear is turning toward the net too early. You are not supposed to watch the shuttle after you've hit it. If you look at the LCW slowmotion he finishes his whole motion, then turns around.
If you look at the little girl video, she turns way too early. Could be that she's doing drop shots though.
