anyone here used this and could give opinion on it?

Thinking of getting first machine and leaning towards drop weight.

I pulled the trigger on one of these. Delivered from www.arfaian.com (aka pro's pro) and including 2 clamps for the ex-VAT price from wdstrings (no clamps). Good value imo.

The base is mainly plastic with a hidden metal plate for structural support.

The supports seem well placed - they didn't cause me any trouble on my first ever string job - 22x22 on a trinity pro with zymax 67. Comparing with Mark A's job mine were a bit compressed ~ 5mm approx. Not sure if this is because I didn't stretch the racket enough with the clamps or just because I didn't add more tension on the cross.

I put one of my mx-JJS on the clamps and the supports look to be in reasonable position for these, too.

Next, I have some head SP67 that needs to be used... I'm planning another practice on a trinity at 24x26 before trying 'for real' on my meteors.
