Whenever I try to send the birdie to the back court, whether popping it up or clearing, I always hit it out. Is it my stroke, my power, or my racket? Please help!

Hit it higher in the air more towards the ceiling. You'll find it will land in the court.

You have to adjust your power, pretty simple. If I were to hit the shuttle as hard as I could every time in a clear I could hit the back wall every time, and if I cleared it really soft I would not even reach the net. Power adjustment will need to be made depending on stroke trajectory, and court position. Nearly all players (with any racket) can hit the shuttle out the back, when you get to that stage you have to start controlling your shots not just blast as hard as you can.

^ This. Plus you can start increasing your string tension.

Second that. Higher tension and/or thicker string may help.

If you don't want to control your power, try shorten your racket until your can't hit it out.
