The price has recently shot up ridiculously now.

BG65ti reel I bought few weeks ago for £76 is now £97.
Aerobite for £115 is now £150

    Across the board 30% increase.:(

Yeah noticed this too, I think Yonex put up all the prices. I can still get BG65Ti for your previous prices through a trade account but not sure how long it'll last. Maybe time to stock up...

    my last bg80 roll: £92
    my current bg80 roll: £104

And it's pink, because white and yellow was £124, and black, blue, or sky blue was £114.

It clashes horribly with my red/black racket, but I'm not paying for the colour of my strings.

Yeah looks like Yonex increased all of their string prices.
I put off buying a new reel of Aerobite since I had a few re-strings left. It was ~160CAD with my discount a few months ago, now its almost ~200CAD.

I don't string in great volumes so I only offer BG65ti and BG80 Power to customers. Had to switch to BG80 to satisfy my rule that each reel has to be under £100 to justify what I charge my customers and trying to resist increasing my price £15.

Thats my struggle as well. I took a shot at the babolat strings that retail around 50 quid. They are okay for like first 5 hours and then turn really soft/mushy.

Yonex prices have indeed become crazy in Europe... especially to get such a dull string as BG65! Welcome to Lining strings and other not-so-
    overrated brands ;)

I was thinking about LN5 or LN7 as an alternative for BG65/BG65Ti (mostly sought after for durability...).

Since I play badminton the prices of feather shuttles increase by around 50 cent to 1€ per tube per year. I don't know how much string people use, here yearly to complain? I doubt that many people could be more fussy than me with jobs. I go through a reel on own rackets per year.

On customers I increase the prices 3 times since I string based on the increasing prices of equipment. Always great for me because the most weird and strange people you get rid off and since I don't live from stringing and got often too much rackets to do it's win-win for me.

Customers can also buy their own string and provide. They pay reel price/20 material price at me, grommets included plus labour. Most people complain about club stringers because they forget the prices at local shops. I wouldn't panic to increase prices.

We also have higher prices on grips (I'm also fussy with grips). IMO it is exaggerated to complain here about string prices specific when everything gets more expensive in badminton and to be honest: I love badminton more than I could even bother and also my clubs raised the price of membership. :)
