Most players are juz warming up for Singapore and Indonesia later, hopefully we still get some good matches
Chinese left-hander WengHongyang, runner-up at the PERODUA Malaysia Masters 2023, will feature in an interesting opening round against Kidambi Srikanthat the TOYOTA GAZOO RACING Thailand Open 2023. LinChunYi Vs ChouTienChen. In MD, LiYuchen/OuXuanyi face KangMinHyuk/SeoSeungJae Some high profile first rounds Matchups.
MS Qualifiers play 3 matches in a day to enter the main draw. In MD, GVS beat his ex-partner TWK but to lose in the next round.
There are 7 Indian MS players in the main draw. Nearly 25 percent of the players. Haven’t seen these many in tournaments
The timing of this tournament isn’t the best, lots of players skipping to rest. The top players from China are here though. Did japan skip?
Unlucky/lucky for Ashmita playing her domestic arch rivals back to back Unnati and Malvika Kiran George convincingly defeated JHJ There are some popular players missing, however for wt500 it's still a good lineup. Definitely got the shorter straw being sandwiched between MAS, SGP and INA
rajawat's movements smooth and elegant, some kind of finesse. i enjoy watching. Lin chun yi plays like a senior replica version lindan. great to watch too!
Disappointing performance by Rajawat after his display at the Orleans Masters. It looked like he just completely mentally boomed in the 2nd game and gave away point after point after losing a tight G1.
