Is this enough allowance for a new Eclipsion Z3 27cm shoe pair? It's around 1/4 inches allowance from the front of the shoes. I was expecting around 1/2 inches but wouldn't that be too long after it gets broken in? I have V-shaped feet so my 2nd big toe is a tiny bit longer than my 1st big toe but not really by much.

I have the option to return this to Amazon Japan and get a 27.5cm instead but I really need to know ASAP. So keep the 27cm or go up by half a size to 27.5cm? Thoughts?

Wear what is comfortable. When you size up the toebox is gonna get wider. You might be swimming in them even more. This is a fit answer that only you can answer.

I understand what you're saying but I know that there is a general rule of thumb for this. That information is what I'm trying to find here.
