Yeah, Badminton Denmark must be thankful for having the top players back to the national team. I really can't imagine about Denmark's chance if the feud still continues until now.

Two Danish aces Viktor Axelsen and Anders Antonsen will be hot favourite in this tournament, interesting to wait the sensational Singaporean youngster Loh Kean Yew feat here, promoted from qualification round this THA Masters winner has Jan O Jorgensen at the opening round to overcome. In women's singles, none of top 10 players heading to Barcelona, China brings their back-ups including 2012 Olympic Champion Li Xuerui against some European contenders, Kristy Gilmour and Denmark duo Mia Blichfeldt also Line Kjaerfeldt as well. Some familiar doubles specialists Astrup/Rasmussen, Boe/Mogensen, Ellis/Langridge, Stoeva sisters, Christensen/Pedersen, Ellis/Smith fill the line-up also mixed doubles Olympic Champion Tontowi Ahmad who makes his debut with new partner Winny Oktavina Kandow.
Ren Pengbo seem impressive by thrashing India's prodigy and compatriot Sun Feixiang in the quailfyig rounds.
I won't take much on Lakshya Sen's loss here, because he played 10 matches in the last 7 days. First inter-state championships, where he represented his state and later senior National championships that concluded last sunday where he reached finals and flew to Spain immediately to play for it, eventually lost it. This is his 11 th match. This is acceptable. Hope he does a proper planning before . This is too much for 17 year old . Nowadays, Senior circuit is very energy consuming. If you are not physically strong, you will be eaten alive.
I thought the final was played on a Saturday. The score was not even close, it is either Ren is playing very well or Sen just flying to Spain for holiday.
The last few matches score were identicals. 21-1 21-1 ?? glitches? https://www.tournamentsoftware.com/...7815DE-0F9F-4BB4-842F-AE0AF0496ACF&d=20190220 PS : It was a glitch. The scores are back to normal now
Next opponent is Kashyap, we'll see whether he could produce magic formula ala Thailand Masters victory. Top contender former World Champion Viktor Axelsen demolished 2015 World Junior Champion Lu Chia Hung yesterday to meet Ajay Jayaram, head to head stats displays 3-3, interesting fixture while Anders Antonsen hasn't serious trouble to pass Lee Cheuk Yiu and will take on Russian Vladimir Malkov. In women's singles, Scottish star Kirsty Gilmour blew away her golden chance to secure last sixteen spot, 20-16 then lost 21-23, psychological impact happened in third game that saw HKG player Deng Xuan controlled the match, 21-11. Ruselli Hartawan inexplicably lost the match against Han Yue 23-21 18-21 15-21 just now. She had won the first 23-21 and looks to be the more talented player. She kept on making silly errors and seemed to be tiring rapidly in the 3rd game which is worrying seeing as she is just 21. Lack of stamina seems to be a big issue with her and her coaches need to correct this if she is to rise in the world ranks.
This big issue is nothing new. Most mediocre INA players suffer from this situation. Good start, bad finishing.
Li Xuerui lost in two straight sets to Yeo Jia Min, 21-16, 21-17, not a good start to the new year for her. As Xia Xuanze has pointed out some time ago, LXR needed to work on her court movement, specifically running ability or speed and stamina. Surprisingly, LXR hadn't been spending sufficient time in the winter training camp, instead she was playing the CBSL from end last year as well as in some tournaments last month; makes me wonder how committed she is to her Olympic quest or, perhaps, it's just a case of not getting her tournament schedule improperly prioritised. That's not to say Yeo JM is a pushover, not at all - she is a WS to watch from SGP, still only 20 years old, looks promising.
I would like to pose a question if I may? Why are people so condemning of players from their own country if that player is not able to achieve the pinnacle of success? Let us be straight here. Any of these so-called 'mediocre' players could beat us 15-0 15-0 on every occasion we played and yet we comment dismissively about their skill and years of training.
Yes, that's the raison d'etre for her making a comeback despite all the odds - otherwise , 'what's the point ?', to use her own words.
Did I condemn the players from my country? All I did was point out the issue. Criticizing is not the same as condemning. But, it is difficult to criticize someone without making it look like belittling someone.
Thank you for the information. Well mathematically speaking it’s do-able, in reality it remains to be seen but she is in for a serious challenge and that can be a good source of motivation for her.
yeah i suffer from the same issue a well i know the feeling i don't blame you ahhaha though nowadays i try to keep quiet
