The third edition of Brazil Open Grand Prix was already concluded yesterday, took place in Foz do Iguacu with total prize money US$55,000, sponsored by Yonex and offering 5,500 ranking point for the winner. It's lack of participants tournament, even Women Doubles category only consists of 5 pairs that automatically they're through to last eight stage.

Malaysian youngster and 2011 World Junior Champion, Zulfadli Zulkiffli claimed Men's singles crown, defeated Indian Anand Pawar in rubber games. Spaniard number two Beatriz Corrales nailed women's singles title without much trouble to dispose Finland player Airi Mikkela in finale.

In doubles department, Germany topped Men's doubles and Women's Doubles podium while India mixed doubles combination Chopra/Reddy are too strong for their opponents here.

This tournament is not scheduled to be held in the year 2017. What might be the reason.
