Currently I've been using the Victor Gr1-3 Overgrip. They've been the best I've used when it comes to OG's available in the country and I must insist that in no way I'm unhappy with them. The grips are thin, comfortable directly on electric tape (on wood) and maintain their tackiness for a good while before giving in. I try my best to wrap the victor engraving on it but sometimes I feel it or rather half of it and it ever so slightly irks me.

So I wanted to ask are there any plain overgrips that don't have company logos engraved on them? Supergrap is not out of the question but it'll take 7 days or more if I place an order now on MBS and maybe I will but given I've run out of grips today, what do I order for the next few days if not the victor OG's?

Thankyou ! I'll purchase this asap for current use.

For the future I've ordered 20 G10 RKEP OG's from Eric as he confirmed there's no logos or anything written on them. Couldn't have had much better timing than that.

is there a noticable difference using electric tape instead of cushion wrap?

Yes. Electric tape protects the handle from moisture and is not noticeable (personally) in terms of thickness.

so its fine just to remove the original grip, have a layer of electric tape and an overgrip right over it? skipping the cushion wrap altogether. or will using cushion wrap give a noticable diff

It's fine to do whatever you want as long as it is comfortable and working for you.

Use electrical tape as a base layer of moisture protection after removing original grip. This is not something you *need* to do. Electrical tape is usually very thin; it will have negligible difference on the feel/thickness of the handle if used this way (assuming minimal overlap in wrapping). Use cushion wrap to build the grip size or provide more cushioning, or skip it and go right to to overgrip or replacement grip.

It is perfect if you like it that way and you'll only know about your preference once you try it. Cushion wrap layers depending on how many you use will make a significant difference to both thickness and cushioning so yes it does matter if you want that sort of thing without changing the balance point much.
