https://www.yonex.com/news/badminton/exbolt-65-repulsion-control-and-durability Coming out late August 2022 Adds a new "elasticity outer coating" over the "forged fiber" of the Exbolt 63.
Exbolt 63 for me, bad for slice compare BG 80. Good durability for 0.63 and insane repulsion. Exbolt 65 will better durability and good repulsion, I hope better control, and good for slice.
There really is nothing quite like bg80 yet. While I love the repulsion from exb63, I cannot for the love of me get a good slice. Here's to hoping that exb65 will be better Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
Here the specification of Exbolt 65 Quick Repulsion 10/10 Durability 8/10 Hitting Sound 9/10 Shock Absorption 8/10 Control 10/10 Ofc Repulsion will decrease from 11 to 10 and Durability is increase from 7 to 8. Hitting Sound decrease is a surprise, even Exbolt 63 not really good sound compare 66 ultimax. The control still same 10/10. Exbolt 63 main problem when misshit your shot became really really bad. I really hope it has a good slice and more tolerance for misshit
From my experience using Exbolt for 6 months and different tension. I do find Exbolt better at -1 lb on your preferred tension. As you said, mishits felt super bad and good hit felt sublime. The only solution that can help is lower your tension on Exbolt by 1-2 lbs to increase sweetspot. I think we can do that course the insane repulsion. Reduce tension causes my drives to lose 5% of power but I do get better control.
Introducing more and more strings, the rating limits Yonex, eventually only so many models before running into identical ratings. Will Yonex start adding 11 in other categories or 12 in the future?
I definitely need to know how slices are with it compared to aerobite and ex63. If it's like ex63... Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk
I believe they get prototypes etc from Yonex. And because they are an "influencer" it is worth Yonex' to use them for marketing purposes. Looking forward to the review. I first saw ck's channel from the badminton insight crossover.
Finally the video what I was waiting for, what a good string. Now it's time to wait for the price, if it became most expensive string, I will skip
Normally I'd say yes but I'll be honest and say they both felt very similar. If I were to be super picky, it might've dropped 1 point on a scale of 100 in "hardness" compared to the 63.
Sounds like a great string to try out. If it's similar to 63 but with increased durability. That's a winner.
