Please Introduce myself, my name is Stanley from Jakarta, Indonesia. I am interested to playing badminton for 8 years. I often testing some racket for many brands. My level of badminton is so so not amateur not intemediate. :)

Hello Everybody,

I'll start by saying WOW to the information on this website. I started with Badminton at 7 and played up to the end of grade school where I was city champion in Victoria 1 year. I started by playing in the backyard with my mother and eventually playing 5 times a week. I <3 Badminton

I moved to Vancouver and didn't touch the sport for 7 years due to financial reasons as all of a sudden moving out at 18 may have been a little hasty and only 8 months ago have I started to pick it up again. I purchased a Ti-10 (3rd Gen) and have absolutely missed the sport.

Presently i'm on the mend as I tore a few tendons in my shoulder and just yesterday pulled my groin I believe lol... kind of a walking accident but very happy to be playing once again.

6 months ago, I couldn't tell you any other brand besides Victor, Yonex, and Black Knight for racquets.... You can only imagine how much information I've taken in this past few months. Happy to be here.

Hello there. I'm Maxis from Malaysia, living at Port Dickson. As the title says, I'm 14 years old, been playing badminton for a while as a kid but not as serious as I am now. I am training under a coach called Kwek Chiew Peng, he was a former Thomas Cupper for Malaysia.

I wish to improve to a higher level, hopefully I can be better. I decided to train with a coach after losing to a 13 year old when playing in my school's inter-school competition.

Just a few thoughts I wish to share:

1.Compared to others, I started out pretty late as you can see ( 14 years old ). I always have another side of me where I doubt I can be better than others. Every professional player started playing badminton very early ( 6-8 years old ). It always bothers me when thinking about this...

2.When using the forehand grip, I find it hard to do a forehand clear when the shuttle is in front of me. Maybe I'm not used to it, but whenever I try to do a clear I tend to switch back to my old grip ( panhandle grip )... it's a habit and It's hard to get used to the forehand grip.

I am really happy to note that at last I was able to find a forum devoted exclusively for badminton. I am 26 years old and I am from India. I have always loved playing badminton and I was the school champion continuously for three years. Right now I don’t have much time to play my favorite game but I have made it a point to play it once in a week. Nowadays my wife has also begun to show some interest in this wonderful game.

Hello everyone. I'm new in this forum. I really love to play badminton. It's one of my favorite sport. In fact it's the only sport I'm good at. I can't play football or basketball or even tennis. So the only thing left for me to do is playing badminton. I started since I was 14 years old. Now it has been more than two decades already. I still haven't lost the passion for this game. It's amazing really to think that I've indulge myself into something that I really love for more than twenty years and still keep doing the same. I hope you all have the same passion toward the game as I do.
