zheng siwei is an amazing player, some of his shot man... now that i think about it, he can really be the answer for chn lack of good backcourt player in md, like imagine him playing with liu yuchen.
They say, Mens Doubles is the Kings Discipline in Badminton. But to me Mixed Doubles is by far the most entertaining category. The tactical aspect is clearly the most interesting due to male and female playing together. And we have so many amazing players here. Good to see some Korean pairs catching up with the Big 4. Maybe Jordan coming back as well and the young Indonesians...gonna be good times.
This is a very entertaining mixed doubles final. Microphones really should be placed at the players boxes so we can hear.

I`m not sure, if that would work. He is amazing in mixed doubles. But I feel his defense could be exploited in mens doubles, when both opponents can smash hard at him. Nevertheless they are a really great no. 1 pair for badminton. Smiling, showing emotions, always fighting hard for every point and every tournament. Good job, congratulations!

his defense is solid enough imo, it's definitely better than the likes of ou/liang/jiting etc, his flat game is fantastic, and he play the soft touch better than any of chn backcourt player.
Felt like he was pissed off, destabilised, and annoyed at AA, especially the way he stared at AA after each point he scored in G3.
Zheng should be playing MD. And how dearth of back players in the MD lineup. He cant be worst than OuXY or LiangWK.
AA did some bad not ready to recieve the serve yesterday, at 19-20 in G2 and once in G3 where LSF fooled him with a flick serve
It might be worth a try for sure. Not a fan of Ou myself, would be interesting to see Zheng with Liu Yuchen. But there is a different pressure on you, when you don`t have a female to go to, that is physically weaker. And he doesn`t have to defend too many smashes in mixed due to Yaquiong usually dominating. the net. But when he has to, the defense sometimes lets him down. Pretty much his only little weakness, though.
