NTY next opponent is LSF,he hasn't won against him before.

NTY seems to have more luck against established players being able to beat VA and Kidambi. But his track record against his peers is not very good, losing to Lakshya and LSF quite a few times already. Hope he can break that barrier this tournament.

Again it's not that he goes to the umpire, it's that he complains to the umpire for nothing over his opponent when he is actually losing control of the match. Usportmanship may not be the right term for you but it's such a poor display for a reigning #1. And his antics on court when losing a point are a bit surprising to say the least. Nothing new here though and nothing unsportmanship but it doesn't make VA look in control.

Kidambi would win the day he wins against him error prone self..Kodai was just too good for him !

    Congrats Kodai well deserved !

Same statement for SK's badminton bro JoJo and sis Gregoria these three are just beyond me they are great players but it must be a curse to cheer these three

How did Weng Hongyang did it? First he blew Jonathan Christie away yesterday in two emphatic straight sets, and today he threatened to do the same to JC's teammate, Chico Aura DWI WARDOYO, albeit dropping the second set, 15-21, but winning just as convincingly in the first and third sets, 21-11 and 21-13.

TBH, I had thought originally that JC could be simply not in the zone, perhaps just having a bad day at the office but after what WHY served to Chico in almost similarly fashion, I have a feeling we may well see WHY choosing this tournament to make his impact as much as he possibly can after being suddenly off the boil in recent months.

HSP at least gave a good fight before losing to ASG unlike Kidambi who is in a hurry as always to attend some concert along with Jo and GMT.

Im glad India finally has a Good WD pair so lookin forward to their performance tomorrow !

I couldn't help noticing how He Jiting/Zhou Haodong played with more vim and vigour than in their previous one or two tournaments to inflict a comprehensive victory over the Danish pair of Astrup/Rasmussen, 21-15, 21-10.

A sign of things to come for this Chinese pair to join their fellow juniors,Liang Weikeng/Wang Chang, on the upswing?

i feel CHN gonna take 5 titles honestly. The toughest will be WS. It will almost be a disappointment if they take 2 title only from the results currently.

I was. And I was also silent when NTY did it today (I don’t think he did though). It was VA who wasn’t silent. I reacted only to the loose use of the term “bad sportsmanship”.

I agree more with this. It definitely made him look less in control. But it is probably just how it was. He wasn’t in control at all except for the second half of second game.

Who is favourite now? Shi Yuqi? Naraoka? LZJ?
